Fields of research: migration behavior, population dynamics and outbreak mechanisms of Nilaparvata lugens (Stål), Sogatella furcifera (Horváth), Laodeobhax striatellus (Fallén), Cnaphalocrocis medinalis Guenée, Loxostege sticticalis L. and Mythimna separata (Walker). The research aims：to define the mesoscale and microscale source areas of immigrant pest populations both at mainland and abroad, develop a set of detailed offsite forecast techniques and strategy for IPM, set up a monitoring and forecasting platform based on 3S technology and mesoscale simulation of atmosphier.
