Fields of research: The seven-member research team consists of 4 professors and 3 associate professors. The team focuses its studies on the physiological and molecular mechanisms underlying the development, reproduction, environmental adaptation, and population outbreak of major crop pests in China. The ultimate purpose of the research team is to elucidate the related regulation pathways, to define the key genes and biological molecules involved in the pathways, and to develop new theories, technologies and products for controlling the pests.
