Fields of research: The six-member research group is staffed by two professors, two associate professors and two research assistants. The research of the group focuses on the fundamental theory and practice techniques of fungicide biology and crop disease chemically control. The study included on the bioactivity and application principle, mode of action and resistance mechanism of fungicides, and early warning and management of fungicide resistance pathogen population development. With the conventional and modern molecular biology methodology, setting up a high-efficiency technical platform for diagnose, monitoring and early warning of fungicide resistance pathogens and new bioactive agro-chemical screening, setting up a system of strategies and techniques for chemically and bio-chemically control of crop diseases.
