Fields of research: The research team of new pesticides discovery and environmental toxicology is composed of six members, including two professors, three associate professors and one lecturer. The research interests include 1) revealing the biological characteristics of pesticide targets, establishing their interaction model with active compounds, screening and synthesis the lead compounds of new pesticides; 2) identifying the degradationpathways and environmental behavior of pesticidein plants, soil and water body, and researching the mechanism of toxicity and toxicological effect to provide scientific basis for the rational use of pesticides; 3) developingrapid, high-throughput detection technology of pesticide residue and effective biodegradation pathway of pesticides, providing technical support for comprehensive control of agricultural machine chemical pollution of farmland and the quality and safety of agricultural products.
